Hojo with Amaya, daughter of Kira, the SOLDIER who Reeve Tuesti employed to keep an eye on Hojo when Hojo first re-emerged from the Lifestream about a year after the events of DoC. Amaya had died during Deepground attacks, and Hojo promised Kira he could bring the child back to life if Kira helped him get access to resources (and escape from Reeve's prison).

After that, a LOT happened, and people including Kira and Hojo were scattered all over the place. Let's just say after a few very unexpected events, Hojo had finally gotten around to bringing the little girl back to life.
